1.9d 2001, cold starting was becoming problem so changed all four glow plugs, 3 were completely gone. Starts lovely now but lacks acceleration big time, notice more in 2nd gear. Maxes out at 60mph also. Any ideas please....Thanks
Had another look in engine a few days ago, found cable loose that i must of caught with my arm, cable went to air flow meter. Thank you for what has turned out to be the perfect answer

Get a mechanic with a diagnostic scanner to read the fault codes but at a rough guess id head for the air flow meter. Try to borrow one as the are probably costly to buy and maybe non returnable if thats not the problem
