How do I remove a citroen relay 1.9d heater matrix?

Is this a stressful job or is it quite easy to access the matrix from under the dash

I have 04 2ltr HDi and was wondering how much of the dash had to come out? I have everything from the gear lever to the left out but there's more dash underneath looks like it's part of the rest of the dash if you know what I mean?

no chance as it is situated at the back of blower housiing and requires complete dash removal as i did a hdi 2003 53 reg

Depends on the age. On the older models it is necessary to remove the whole dashboard to get to the matrix. I'm just about to do a 2003 model and it looks as if the panel above the radio will come out and could possibly allow access to the offending item.

Its easy , remove passenger seat so you can put legs up there and lay under dash, use a bright lead light otherwise you wont be able to see the silly retainers and hose clips properly, then it will come out easy. Putting it back in takes more time but is quite easy still
