Headlamp adjustment peugeot 306?

? WHERE ARE THE MANUAL ADJUSTING SCREWS TO ADJUST THE HEADLIGHTS
D BURT, November 2008
306 Turbo Diesel, bought some "nightbreaker" high powered bulbs - supposedly 90% brighter. They're certainly very bright, kept getting flashed by other motorists so thought I'd best adjust. Have just done this . . VERY easy . . just above the headlights there are a couple of "paddle" like upright flaps, simply turn the beam up or down using this paddle as a handle, no need to even take of the plastic lamp protector cover.

with the lights on try first and see if the height adjuster is working inside the vehicle the one next to the steering if it is working then there is an plastic allen screw on the top of the clip in motor for the headlight motor adjuster, the allen screw is located at the top of the motor on the offside of the headlight do not confuse it with the one at the bottom which is more visible than the top one wind this in or out to get the light to adjust. i took this motor adjuster out buy mistake and found it had unclipped from the inside if this is the case then remove the motor adjuster adjust it inside the cab to its most outward setting on the end of the motor and then wind the above allen screw to its max out and clip it into the locater inside the light and begin from the start above good luck you shold be able to do it

usually there are two holes in the panel just above the head lights to adjust beam settings if not then check the back of the lights and look for a cog type mechanism this is the adjuster
