How can i fix my Candy CIV 60 tumble dryer??

I have a candy reverse action CIV 60 tumble dryer, it started to make a louder noise when using it, then the noise became unbearable and the dryer just stopped turning, i think it may be a belt or a bearing, but do not want to waste time and money getting the wrong parts etc.. Can anyone help me? Thanks.

Hi Leah, your dryer needs to be stripped down [drum out etc] as it sounds as though the felt bearing had gone but as you have carried on using it, it has now jammed probably breaking the belt.
