1997 clio cambelt gone worth replacing?

Cambelt has gone on car. its worth 750 quid running is it worth replacing it or just scrapping it?

Well am going to repair. i'll let you know how this goes. am using my neighbour who works on planes so we should be ok. cheaper than a garage any how

Scrappit & buy another car its not worth the hassle.

If its a 1.2 1.4 common engine then go to scrappy and buy an engine for it, approx £100-150, then you can either swap the heads fitting a new belt (!) or replace the whole engine. It is unlikely the breakers will sell just the head and be left with the block but still cheaper than rebuilding.
Find a local man who mucks about with cars and this will be cheaper than a garage.
Or buy another car
