My Bosch Maxx WFL 2260 will fill & empty, it will also run a SPIN cycle, but the motor will not run during a normal wash cycle. I can hear something clicking away inside, but the drum won't budge during this wash cycle.

I read another post from a Bosch WFL2260 owner with very simliar symptoms and a new motor was suggested. Is this still likely to be the case even when the machine does do a SPIN cycle?

The machine is 6 years old, and having been quoted £186+vat for a replacement motor I hope this is something else!!!

Just to update my own question, I fixed the problem by replacing the brushes in the motor. £22 later and the machine is as good as new :-)
