you need to remove the front facia plate, then the four T6 screws from the rear. The main body of the tomtom will then come out (with a little help!) You then need to remove the screen (small screwdriver) and the two electronic boards (T6 screws) the battery will be visible right in the center of the unit. You unplug the connection and then the battery just un clips. It is quite an easy process though make sure its deff. the batt 1st!! I replaced mine and it didn't change anythin, still wouldn't charge correctly came on for short bursts and then the low batt light would come on again. I then found out it was the pins on the main connection that were at fault and they can't be changed!! TYPICAL!!!!!
