delonghi cooker wont stay alight?

the gas cooker ignites but as soon as i take my finger off the control it goes out however the grill and hoobs work fine??????????

If your Delonghi is like ours, you might find you need to keep the oven ignition button pushed in for anything up to a minute after it's been lit. The pilot light needs to heat up to continue igniting the main gas jet before it will stay alight on it's own. It's a pain, but it's part of the safety gas cut-off sysyem. Hope this works for you
