I have had the same problem - I have not yet finally
solved the problem but you can boot your system as
follows:
when you see error report on screen press ctrl - alt
and delete at same time - then immediately press F12
continously.
The boot menu will appear - scroll down to hard drive
and press enter
then you should have 2 options:
sony
hitachi
then select hitachi and press enter
your computer should then boot/start from this
hard drive and then enter your password!
