Creda T632Cw - no heat?

It sounds like the thermostat has gone. It is a very easy repair. I have done this today myself. 1. Unplug the dryer from the wall 2. Remove the small cover, the brace & the larger cover from the back of the machine by removing the self tapping screws. You may have to gently prise the large cover off as it has a rubber gasket around the lip. 3. Remove the first beige plastic thermostat with the green dot by pulling the spade connectors off & removing the small screw. You can see if it is damaged by shaking it or if the face has gone concave. If it rattles it is okay if not it is broken and will need replacing. Then check the other one. If either has gone BOTH will need replacing. They cost approx £15 for the pair. When replacing ensure that the thermostat with the green spot goes back in the same place - this is very important. Also do not touch the faces of the new thermostats because this can damage them. Once replaced refit the covers. Cheers
