bg.. Thanx for your answer to this question. It was a big help when after replacing pull cord on my lawn mower, it just wasn't working. So simple, lol. Wind spring THEN thread cord through :)~ Again, Thank you..

You will need to pull housing and rewind by hand until its pretty tight and enough to pull cord back in
Once you have it rewind put a pair of vice grips on wheel and lock down where the holes for the cord align and runn cord thru and tie a small knot on the end and slowly take vice grips off and let it pull cord back thru and rrewind
