can i reprogramme(ford explorer)?

i have a 1997 ford explorer with a broken key fob and cannot start the car as the immobaliser will not de-activate.i have a new key fob for the car but does anyone know how to re-programme the remote fob.please help or send the samaritons phone no.thanks
