E6 error indication Samsung B1415J?

Our Samsung washing machine B1415J.

After 20minutes washing we get an E6 message, what does the E6 message mean. Cannot find it in the manual.

there might be something stuck in the pipe at bottom of the machine

Yes, it was the heating element on mine too, although thankfully it was just a burnt out connection which was easily fixed.

This is the fourth thing to go wrong with mine in as many months. First it was the belt, then the drain pump, then the door seal and now the heater. I've nearly got a new machine!!

Cheers

I had the same problem, try to wash a cold wash, if i does not JAM, them it is the heating element, or a wire that was burnd over.

The heating element cost 340 Danish crowns, about 32 £ and 50 $.
The heating element is in the front just under the door, so the whole front have to go off.

It is okay to splitt and collect again, the only one thing that was piss*ng me off, was that the heating element dident fit, but the thing that was wrong, was that you have to hit the metal clips inside the hole, and PUSH WERY WERY hard, until a click is comming, and it fits.

Hope it helps.

It says on the samsung website that it is a motor problem (E6)
Not so with mine, it was the heating element.

I did a coldwater wash and it didnt happen again

I replaced the element and all is fine

I did all washes until I got the element on cold wash but added hot water by hand

If you still have the problem, I think it is the heater that is broken.

Not much help, but I have same problem with same machine. (same code)

I think I cleared it by putting the water pipe into the sink. The machine failed during drain cycle.

Next time it was ok - but still occationally comes up
