Internet Explorer won't stick to 'blank'?

Whenever I load-up IE instead of being presented with my favoured 'blank' screen, I keep getting some search page. Is there any way of restoring the default page to 'blank'. I've tried going through Control Panel Internet Options, and running various spyware, and antivirus programmes. Probably a simple answer I've overlooked. Thanx.

You may have "SPYWARE" on your system. Go to this site and download "Spybot". It should find the problem, then go back to "Internet options" and change the home page to "USE BLANK" or a safe site such as "GOOGLE".
