had this problem with a Binatone Veva 1700 Twin.
Solution was to change the power supply unit for main phone.
Works fine now.

Range Out, tried the above and followed manual instruction on loading defaulty both H/set and Base. No success. Any Ideas? Is this set faulty?

and download the manual. Follow the steps "Handset registration' at page 12. I've done it and it works

Hi. I had the same problem. I held the button underneath the base unit with the phone in the cradle. it beeped. i then took it out and pressed and held
the button for 5 secs, let it go and then pressed and held again. the handset came up with "handset 1"
