Speed Pulse / GAL Cable on a Citroen Xsara 1.4i Break - 1999?

Hello,

I have been looking for ages for the speed pulse cable of my Citroen Xsara 1.4i Break - 1999.

I have looked for wiring diagrams, fuse box diagrams, even on the ISO connector at the back of the radio (where no speed pulse cable is connected). Where do I find this speed pulse (GAL) cable?

I read something about a pink wire on a black connector in the fuse box (pin 3), but I cannot find it, nor have any idea what that means.

Help is greatly appreciated!

if you would like a copy of the wiring diagrams contact me on the email in previous reply, the pin 3 in the connector in the fuse box you refered to is the diagnostic connector but it is digital data from the ECU to the instrument pod.

Hi, the vehicle speed sensor connects directly to
pin 28 of the engine ECU, (passenger side inner wing area UK) if you look at the connector from the wire side it looks like a squashed "T" the top row of the "T" from left to right are 1>19 middle row 20>37 so 28 is in the middle row it connects to the VSS on pin 3 you will get a voltage of 0>12v fluctuating with road speed.
