replacement/repairs to planet hub ass for Kenwood chef A701A?

The straight on the planet hub assembly of my kenwood Chef A701A has worn, the beater will not turn. Kenwood say this part was redesigned in the 1970's and a replacement is not available. Can anybody help with where to get spare parts or ideas/places to have it repaired ?

You can buy replacements out of the UK but very expensive. I successfully repaired the D shape by having an insert made by an engineering shop.

I have the same problem.you will find that the gear inside the planet hub has collapsed or teeth have stripped.metal gears are available from J.Lydon .Lydonsvacs@hotmail.com You will need to check that the flat on the planet hub drive shaft hole is not badly worn or damaged,if it is then we are both looking for a supplier of a PLANET HUB ASSEMBLEY,mod.A701A
