Tumble dryer works but does not heat up - how do I replace element:

I forgot to mention before you call an engineer see if there is a red button on the back if so push it and it should heat up, if this is the case you have tripped the internal overload by not cleaning the filter or blocking/ squashing the vent pipe.

If this is a full load tumble dryer [same size as a washing machine] you should not attempt it as it is a pain, call an engineer.
