ferm belt sander?

can anybody advise me where I can obtain a replacement drive belt for my ferm FBS-800 sander please ?

Mine just broke. The belt is a timing belt 120XL03 and its dimensions match what's sold as 120XL037 (3/8 wide, 12" internal length) - only place I could find one is in USA at $4 plys $12 postage to UK

How do I dismantle the sander so that I can put the drive belt on, please?

Screw fix supply belts for this sander but you must ask for the 533mm long belts. They do lots of grades for the different types of finish that you are looking for.

Thank you Mr. Smith, I have tried 2 B&Q stores but they only stock one very small belt for the Bosch sander so I am still desperately searching

Any DIY place such as B&Q should have their own brand/generic sanding belts that will fit, you do not jave to use Ferm belts. Take your old belt in with you and ask if unsure of the size!

Hope this helps!
