Vauxhall Astra?

My Vauxhall Astra I.6 petrol auto (2000 - X reg) has a problem. The engine management light started to come on and the engine cut out, though started again immediately. At the same time the speedo went crazy and finally gave up. One of the engine management lights comes on when the engine warms up but runs as normal. Any idea what the problem could be? This has been happening for a while now.

You need to have it code read. OBD 2 code reader port under handbrake lever inside car. A none Vauxhall dealer would normally charge around £25 for a diagnostic.
If you fancy a biy of DIY, you could buy a OBD 2/Canbus reader off fleabay for probably the same cash & you could reuse it in the future on other cars etc.

I recommend this forum, as I too am an Astra owner.
