When u turn off ur phone and then turn it back on in any way, like pulling the battery out, turn off, ect. It will always say updating library its not using credit or anything as far as i know, it's sorta like a safety feature just incase while it was off you put a new memory card in it (updates songs not the acual media player itself). so its not broken just dont turn it off and it shouldn't do it.
