have you tried connecting it to your pc and allowing it to charge?
i thought my tom tom one had died, however i discovered it would charge if i connected it to my pc.
i thought my car charger was the problem so used some one elses but this did not work either.
i have noticed that there is a damaged contact in the connection point of my tomtom one but have not yet done anything about it.
i hope this information is of some use to you
