Hotpoint CTD80 - F15 error?

I've had this drier about 2 years now and it seems like it's continually developing one fault or another.

The latest is this little gem - F15. The drier started to slow a little and become a little eratic and about 40 minutes later it stopped altogether and came up with this error.

It's already recently had a new heater element and it's 2nd new fan - the plastic impeller or whatever at the back of the machine.

It's always been noisy and I'm totally fed up with it.

hotpoint ctd80 trips the electric as soon as you press start button

Thank you for your reply. Can't believe it's the heater again, it's only a few months old.

I'll check the reistance you mentioned.

Cheers,
Mark

Sorry mate F15 is a heater fault again or at least the relay. Try testing J4 on the module between pins 1 and 2 the resistance (if you have a meter) should be about 48Ω or check for continuity between J4 and the heater. You could have to replace the heater or the module.
