Ford Mondeo Glow plug warning light?

I have an 02 reg Mondeo 2 litre TDCi 130bhp. My glow plug warning light started to flash on way home one night. Next morning wouldn't start. AA came out and told me to change glow plugs and fuel filter. Did that straight away and it's running worse than before and cost me £100. Cant get revs up, turbo not coming in. Won't start unless you keep turning over until it eventually catches, but blows a load of diesel out while turning over. Once it's running it will start again straight away, but still juddering and no power. What can it be?

I had the same problem, but my `02 moddy would not start at all.
Took it to my local ford garage and had the injectors recorded and it works fine now. (cost £93.99 inc vat).
They said that if it goes again it will need new injectors.

Hi - got mine sorted. Seems to be quite a common fault on them.
Basically the ECU loses the unique identifier for each injector and so doesn't know which one is in which cylinder. Simply a case of reprogramming the identifiers in. (The id is written on the injector).
I say simple - I still got charged £93+vat. still better than ford who wanted £115 just to read the fault codes.

Sorry not answer yet but I have just had the exactly same thing happen on my 2003 2.0 TDCi.

Did you find out what it was ? Looking around there seems to be loads of different possibilities. The difference here to a lot of them though is that it doesn't cut out just runs bad and won't start when cold.
