how to change the oil in my craftsman lawnmower?

I can't seem to find where to drain the oil in my craftsman lawnmower. The engine number is 143.956000

Hi,
I had the same problem with a year old Husqvarna
mower and, reading the book, discovered that I
was supposed to drain it by taking off the oil
filler cap and turn the mower upside down !
Naturally, petrol spillage is an issue...so have to drain
that first ...perhaps only tip to one side to get most
of it out then over a bit more for a short time to
get the rest. I would run the mower first to get the
oil warm to make it easier. Also, if you catch the drained oil it is a double check as to how much you
need to fill it. Good luck. David
