ow to remove and refit a ford ka headlight.
you will require a phillips screwdriver.firstly you will need to remove two phillips screws at the bottom on the bumper on eachside.they are holding the bumper to the mudguard.
open the bonnet and remove three phillips screws holding the grille to the front panel.
at the front on the bottom of the bumper there are plastic clips holding the bumper in place you will need to remove these with a screwdriver.the front bumper will then release.
to release the headlight there are three 10mm bolts, you will find them located .the first were the grille was,the second at the top on the front panel and the last one down by the side of the wing.(you will need to use a torx to remove the bolts some people call this a star scewdriver)
once you have released the bolts the headlight will move forward.
to release the headlight you will then need to disconnect wires and connection(these are connected by clips).
"congratulations you have successfully removed a headlight".
how to refit a ka headlight the ford centre way.
you will firstly need to reconnect wires and connections back into the headlight, you will need to test that the headlight is working correctly before you go any further.
if you are satisfied that the light is working correctly you can then position the headlight you will then need to put the 10mm bolts back into place.ensure they are secure and that the headlight is safe.(again this will need a torx(star screwdriver).
you will then need to put the bumper back into position. you will need somebody to hold this in position while you apply the plastic clips to the front bumper then put the two phillips screws back on each side making sure that the bumper is secure.
finally you will need to put the three screws back into the front panel securing the front grille.ensure that the bumper is secure and safe.
ensure all parts are secure before driving the car, close the bumper and you will have completed refitting a headlight.
