How do I mend my peageot 206 key?

I have changed the battery on my 206 key but it will not work still.I can use it manually but not using the button on the key.

Thanks for that but I tried to reprogram and still not working,any other ideas?

You need to reprogram the remote control:
- Switch off the ignition
- Switch the ignition on again
- Press the locking button on the remote control
- Switch off the ignition and remove the remote control key from the ignition lock.
The remote control will then be working again.
