VAILLANT BOILER FIRING UP THEN FORGETING TO FIRE UP AGAIN?

BOILER IS FIRING UP WHEN THE HEATING IS SET TO COME ON BUT IT THEN FORGETS TO FIRE UP AGAIN BUT WHEN WE RUN THE HOT WATER IT FIRES UP AND RUNS PERFECT?????? HELP

Engineer replaced the main circuit board that all the main wires connect to in my boiler today, fired up first time and nice and toasty warm in the house now.

Hope this helps any one with the same problem.

Hello Just had british gas engineer out for a similar problem, he said he had never seen this before and has concluded it is one of the circuit boards and has ordered all 3 for replacement tomorrow, my boiler goes to start up for the heating then cuts off after 20 seconds, it will restart its self approx 2min later only to cut off again. I will let you know which board it is tomorrow.
