There is no adjustment on the motors on the WMA range so you have to put the belt onto the motor pulley first and feed it onto the main pulley as far as it will go, then hold it in place with a cable tie. Holding one of the lifters from inside the drum rotate it anti clockwise, this will draw the belt onto the drum pulley and the cable tie will snap as the drum turns. Be sure to use a genuine Hotpoint belt because they have some form of carbon compound in them that earths the inner drum. In early production they found the display lights were flashing from time to time and the solution was fitting this belt.
