I have 50C15 same problems on freeways when engine stop. I have to swich engine and start again at 100km/h... I think is the fuel restrictions..You can start from fuel filter or fuel tank create to much vaccum or fuel pump problems.... Im mobile mechanic also"forkliftscars optusnet.com.au... but I don't have time for my car....

Having the same probs with a 2002 35s11. Van drives & starts perfect up to approx. 2700RPM - Roll off throttle for more than 3 secs, complete loss of power & injector light flashes until approx. 1400RPM when power returns.
Myself and a mechanic buddy have been chasing our tails for a 3/4 days now - This was not helped by the previous owner having placed a plastic black disk over the left hand warning lights - so we could not see the injector light flashing and the ABS warning light on. LOL. Having never owned a Iveco before we didn't realise!
We have a Snap on reader but cannot get an Iveco compataible cable for OBD - Does anyone know where we can get one?
We really don't want to go down the Iveco main dealer route but having swapped most sensors with a mates one and got no results we maybe foced to.
The van runs so well below 2700RPM that I can't belief it's a major fuel pump issue!! Things seem to point at the pressure regulator on the back of the pump or it's wiring.
If anyone can help it would be much appreciated as my misses is about to chop off my testicles and pickle them - This iveco is a home converted camper and she is getting upset as we are meant to be in the south of spain on annual hols!!

Ist change the regulator / govenor on the back of the fuel pump. If that cures the problem its a case of your fuel pumps braking up inside. fit a magnetic filter that will extend its life. but you will mess up the whole fuel system if you dont sort it and its very expensive.

HELLO, I AM HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM AS YOU BUT MINE DOES NOT FIRE BACK UP I HAVE TO RESTART GOING ALONG. MY GARAGE HAS TESTED AND TOLD ME THE HEAD GASKET HAS GONE, WHICH SEEMS UNLIKELY TO ME. DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THIS COULD BE THE CAUSE?

SHAUN, January 2009
Have come across this on several occassions. Always expensive. When they changed the pump & injectors did they change the fuel tank, fuel lines, filter head etc ? Problem usually comes from a defective injection pump - it breaks down and particles of metal flow throughout the system clogging the injectors etc. We had 1 done under warranty but Iveco refuse to recognize a fault - Post office had about 50 or so done !!! to name but a few. IT IS a design fault.
Have the dealer fit a 'magnetic' filter to the rear of the electric fuel pump (near side on the inside of the chassis just about in line with the rear of the near side front door) - this should also have been done when you got the other work done ! It stops the metal particles going too far down the system.

ask main dealer what fault is on easy computer .this should help with diagnosis .
also ask them to do fuel tests as per iveco paperwork .they SHOULD know what this means.it is to THEIR TECHNICAL SPEC and is accompanied by paperwork.
