When I spell check an e-mail in Microsoft Outlook 2000 I get an error "Error occurred while checking spelling."

How can I fix this so that Outlook will spell check?

this didn't work.
Everything goes ok during the process described but outlook still finishes with a error message

'an error occured etc.

Insert your Office 2000 installaton CD.
(1) Open Control Panel.
(2) Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
(3) Select Microsoft Office 2000 and click Change.
(4) In the Microsoft Office 2000 Maintenance Mode dialog box, click Add or Remove Features.
(5) Expand Office Tools by clicking the plus sign.
(6) Click Proofing Tools.
(7) Click Installed on First Use.
(8) Click Update Now.

The first time you ask to spell check an e-mail, the Spell Check function will install.
