Does anyone know the part number for the spike that enables the dryer to detect the door being closed.
This safety mechanism appears to be triggering the interruption.

chances are the gap at the top of the door is wider than at the bottom, you can manipulate the door by bending to correct this. if the problem still persists then the fault is with the switch (not the striker) you can adjust the tension of the springs to correct this
