Veritas Alarm 8 Designated Entry Point?

I have a veritas 8 alarm in my house, it is a new property and I want to change the settings for it as the Designated Entry Point is on the front door sensor, unfortunately due to the layout of the property we use the back door as the main entrance to the house, and therefore when we set the alarm it goes off as soon as we enter the back door. Is there any way of changing the Designated Entry Point to the back door sensor as the electrician who installed it says it can't be done and I'm not sure thats right!! If someone could give me some pointers I'd be most grateful!!

Where is the keypad in relation to the back door - do you have to walk past other sensors to get to the keypad?. If so I wouldn't bother as it would mean changing oll those sensors to Exit/Entry points as well

If you don't disturb any other sensors and you have the Engineering Code then post a response and I'll find out the code you need

Of course it can be done.

Get an alarm engineer to sort it out for you.

Without being there seeing the layout and how the system has been wired it would be almost impossible to help you here.

It's not really something I would recommend you attempt yourself, could make it worse.

Electricians are not alarm engineers, bet you anything you like it may work, but has not even been installed correctly.
