regulator/rectifier peugeot speedfight?

could anybody tell me if the regulator/rectifier was faulty that it could cause a weak spark or would there be no spark at all?Any help please.

If your battery is charging OK then the reg/rec is OK. If the bike wont start at all, try removing the battery and connecting a fully charged battery, if the bike starts OK then it could be your battery is dying. Shine the Main beam at a wall, if it gets brighter when you rev hard, then the reg/rec is probably OK. Check your plug gap and plug leads.
