worcester bosch combi boiler 280 RSF?

The overheat red button used to trip when i run the hot water for a long period ie when the shower is on. That fault has gone. Now when the hot water is on only the radiators get warm upstairs and the hot water takes ages to warm up.
Any ideas?

sounds like diverter valve,can be an expensive job,sometimes its been called an uneconimal repair due to age of boiler,but not so in every case
