Worked fine with these instructions, but anyone trying, be warned. You need several elastoplasts for the cuts sustained from the sharp metal edges. And a good memory for where the screws all go! Especially if like my husband, you just throw them all in a heap on the floor!

The belt appears too small. But its a 'stretch belt' and will stretch to fit, unbelievable though this may seem. The problem I had was stretching it enough in the right direction, ie towards the motor shaft.

My technique involved using the snapped drive belt. Wrap the new one all the way round the drum, loop the snapped belt through it and pass it through the slits in the bottom of the dryer by the motor. Tie it in a knot and use a suitable lever against the edge of the dryer to stretch it in the direction of the motor shaft. Watch your hands on the sharp edges of the motor casing. A second pair of hands could be handy here, one to stretch the belt, one to guide it on.

Remove the front of the drier. First at the back of the dryer remove the screws which attach the white hingles. I used a flat head screw driver on the front of the dryer to lift the clips holding the top of the drier. Remove the top. This will reveal screws which you must remove. at the bottom of the front of the dryer also used flat head to unclip the the little front panel at the bottom. Then remove all screws incuding the ones which hold the metal hinge on the bottom right. You will then be able to lift the door up slightly and to the right. However becareful not to pull it out too far or you will detactch the wires. Remove the old belt. The new belt should be put on with the ridges touching the drum and the material side facing upwards. Put the belt over the drum first and then around the motor (beneath the drum) using a screw driver to lever it on. Hope this helps.
