Samsung 5200M Register?

Hi, I recently purchased a samsung 5200M register secondhand. I live in canada and need to program GST AND PST sales tax into the register. I was wondering if anyone could help guide me through the steps.

I need to know how to enter Straight Percentage Tax Rate in my newly purchased register.

It was cleaned of previous taxes appliications, coming from US. I have the programming disk and I have been able to program everything else except the inserting of tax rate (both GST and PST)

I have followed the instructions as found in the manual but, when I go through the sale transaction the taxes are not added on.

Taxes are complex. Do you need to change the rates, the tax breakdown on the receipt, or the taxed vs non taxed item buttons?
