how do i remove drive shaft on 1995 ford fiesta?

I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW HOW TO CHANGE THE DRIVE SHAFT ON MY SONS 1995 FORD FIESTA

Not that difficult to perform. Loosen the centre nut of the shaft(the nut coming through the centre of the hub). Then remove the ball joint from the hub(its possible you may have to take out the wishbone fully but thats only 2 extra bolts). Use a prybar to prise the shaft out of the gearbox end(take care not to damage the boot or seperate the internal pieces of the shaft). When its out,use a block of wood or soft face hammer to hammer back the shaft through the centre of the hub and the shaft will then be out. Be careful putting back the new one as I think there is a master spline on the shaft(only goes back one way).Use all manufacturers torques when tightening back bolts and bearing nuts. Its a straight forward job for someone who is relatively handy.

this requires dismantling some of the suspension and steering and should really be done by a proffesional
