What's wrong with my Hotpoint Dry DeLuxe Reversomatic TS12?

My tumble dryer has just stopped working. It stopped spinning, made a loud buzzing noise and now there is a faint smell of burning rubber.....

It's quite old; about 5 years so not sure whether it's worth fixing it or buying a new one...

I just change ththe rubber drive belt. It took about 1 hour to change it because you have to open whole machine and take milions small screws . Then put belt on the drum and engine .

had the machine 8 years been very reliable, but the last time used it it spun well went through all the operations except it was producing only cold air not drying clothes, everything else works well any suggestions please thank you
