I'm not sure, but I'll update you when I find our....all I know so far is that the drivers side heated electric mirror on a 2003 focus (facelift) doesn't come off in anything like the way the haynes workshop manual says. It looks like a case of removing the inner door skin/plastic trim, removing some foam insulator, unplugging the lectrical connection and then undoing (with a small socket - poss 10mm) the bold holding the morror on. By the look of things, the cable goes through a grommet, which will need to be pushed out to get the cabel free.
