The progeramme won't complete the cycle. How can I drain the machine and retrieve the clothing from the machine before the engineers appolntment?

The carbon Bushes have worn out, on the electric motor, this is a common problem with all washing machines, replacement parts are about £10 to £25 and can be easly fitted once electric motor is removed i am not a washing machine repairer, but an electricain, and have fixed quite a few machines in my time, people always seem to think its the programer but this wont function unless electric motor is working 98% of the time.

We had this problem with the same machine. If it's like ours just turn it to the short spin cycle and it should drain and unlock the door.
