hi my boiler pressure drops to zero when i close the release valve underneath , so i have to open the valve slightly for the pressure to go up . i have to leave this slightly open in order for it to work - what do i do next help ??

Simple you've got a leak somewhere, check outside first on the blow off pipe (pressure relief outlet). if that's ok its a case of finding it, it could be anywhere, if theres no ceiling damp spots, could be under the ground floor.
