my battery went on my 9800 scantronic it showed bf so i tried to take the lid of the panel and the tamper alarm went off it showed lt i have had to disconnect the alarm till i go and get a battery as anybody got any ideas how i can reset the alarm wen i put the new battery in will i need an engineer code? if so how do i program it in many thanks david

ya might not need an engineer code to reset if is not programed for eng reset. is it connected to a central station, if so you prob will need the eng code. after youve replaced the batt and panel lid put your code in and press clear to reset, goodluck
