Try cleaning out the soap dispenser.
Run the machine on a hot wash with soap powder but NO washing in it.
Clean any water from the tub/shell gasket (door seal)

House drains - lift inspection pit cover and have a look. Very probably smell coming up drain pipe and bad air collecting inside w/m drum.
