Can anyone tell me if replacing a motor for a Dyson D07 is easy and straight forward of is it worth just getting it fixed by a pro. My hoover keeps cutting out and i have cleaned all the parts out and it still does it so i though i would replace the motor.
try running it without the 2 filters in the sponge one
and the one under the bin
then remove the dirt bin completely then run if it does not cut our just eliminate each one it could be either of the 3 good luck

Use the search feature on this site - lots of pointers for repair of DC07s.... However... What makes you think it's the motor? Motors usually work, or they don't work, or they work badly - they seldom stop working then start working again - that's a symptom of a poor connection - wall socket - plug - cable - switch - internal wiring - connections to the motor. These are all more likely causes and much cheaper to fix.
Good luck...
