I have a 52 reg Renauly Laguna 1.9 dci estate. The front nearside electric window only opens about 1cm before jamming. I would like to know if this is a common fault and what exactly the problem is and of course the cost to rectify the problem.

I had a similar problem in my 2000 plate Laguna,
the foam in the door (for sound insulation) had dropped off its clips somehow and had got caught in the arm for the window.

to see if this is your problem you will need to take the door card off, if it has dropped the best fix is to take the foam out.
