What coolant do I need for Ford Fiesta 1998 R Reg???

What coolant do I need for a Ford Fiesta 1998 1.25 LX 16v R Reg??? And how do I know when to top it up? I bought this car second hand with no manual - any help appreciated!

Drain all your coolant & replace it with a 50/50 mix, 50% water to 50% coolant. Go to any car parts place & they'll advise you on the coolant to use or read back of coolant bottle. Most coolants/anti freeze are good to use on any car these days.
