optima accenta alarm problem ?

I attempted to replace a PIR on the alarm without isolating the power. I triggered the tamper and the alarm sounded untill the battery died.
Now the key pad lights up but doesn't accept any inputs and none of the red LED's in the PIR light up can you help?

i have taken off the front of a panic attact button to clean it
the alarm went off when I removed it but I cannon reset the alarm when I have refitted the front any ideas.??

There is a red plastic reset key for the attack button which has broken. Anyone any ideas where I can get a new one?

hi you have blown the fuse if you take the cover off the panel you will see a fuse labelled AUX replace that then press reset that should cure it
