RAC tried this on my pt cruiser and now I need a new steering column !!!! The barrel is similar to the voyager. Should be able to remove without dismantling anything. If you damage the key retaining button mechanism its all over.
Main Chrysler dealers in Sydenham will charge exactly £101 to do this.

not hard to change.but will need very small hollow star drive to remove electrical back part of switch
