I have a Veritas Excel Alarm with the separate LCD keypad. When I set the alarm and then close the final exit door, the exit tone continues and does not stop.
I assume this means that the Alarm circuit is not set when I leave the premises? When I re-enter the premises and enter the Access code the exit tone stops.
It is only a simple set up in a flat, with 4 room sensors and a final exit door contact so I don't know what would cause the Alarm circuit not to be setting.
There are no error messages on the LCD display.
Are there any checks I can carry out to trace the fault?
